Mount Gravatt High Swimming Carnival is organised by our Health Sciences Faculty and held each year during the first few weeks of Term 1

The swimming carnival is an all day event held at Hibiscus Sports Complex in Upper Mt Gravatt and attended by the whole school.

Students spend the day competing and participating in a range of events to gain points for their house: Attunga (yellow), Kittani (blue), Manooka (red) and Turramurra (green).

Students who place well on the day also have the opportunity to compete in higher level competition.

There are also lots of fun activities, with students participating in a cheer competition and novelty events to gain house points. A favourite event is the giant swan race, where students inflate and race giant blow up swans.

Lunch is also on offer with a fundraising BBQ held by our Student Representative Council.
